DEN Device: Network Setup Requirements for WEB 3.0 Services
In the future, Oort will introduce WEB 3.0 services that will require a DEN device to provide external ports for network access. We will be releasing this feature in an OTA push release soon.
DEN requires the following ports to be forwarded in your internet gateway/firewall:
65432 TCP/UDP: Oort API and Monitoring Port
Incoming 65432 TCP/UDP IPV4 from WAN to DEN (LAN IP) 65432 TCP/UDP
1.Set a fixed IP for DEN:
Log in to the router/firewall and assign a fixed IP to the DEN (e.g., Static DHCP). The DEN supports two LAN ports. We recommend using one fixed LAN port, such as the LAN port on the left in the illustration.

2.Set port mapping/port forwarding:
DEN requires the following ports to be forwarded in your internet gateway/firewall:
- 23456 TCP/UDP: Oort API and Monitoring Port
- Incoming 65432 TCP/UDP IPV4 from WAN to DEN (LAN IP) 65432 TCP/UDP If you have more devices, e.g., device “DEN-2”:
- Incoming 65433 TCP/UDP IPV4 from WAN to “DEN-2” (LAN IP) 65432 TCP/UDP
3.Enter your fixed public IP and external open port in the DASHBOARD:
Enter the DEN device LAN IP in your browser and enter your Fixed public IP and external open port in the DASHBOARD.
If you have more devices, e.g., device “DEN-2”, enter the “DEN-2” device LAN IP in your browser and enter port number 65433 as shown in the previous step.

4.NO Fixed public IP
If you do not have a fixed public IP, you need to set up DDNS on your router: If you have a fixed public IP, ignore this step. You can use the following URLs to purchase DDNS services:
Examples: Log in to www.noip.com and set up your domain name (noip offers one month of free service). For example, set the domain name to “oorttest.ddns.net”.
Once registration is complete, enter your NOIP account number, password and other information on the router.
Wait for a while and check via NOIP that the settings have taken effect.
Log in to the DEN device’s DASHBOARD and enter the IP/DDNS address as “oortest.ddns.net”.
⚠️ Failure to complete this step correctly or invalidation of DDNS will affect your mining revenue output.
